communities.Position Overview:Aerovate is seeking a dynamic and
strategic leader to fill the role of Vice President of Marketing.
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the VP of
Marketing will play a pivotal role in driving the overall launch
strategy as well as the marketing strategy and initiatives to
support the commercialization efforts of our novel cardiopulmonary
disease therapies. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in commercializing pharmaceuticals with a focus on
pharmaceutical marketing, particularly in rare diseases, and a
proven track record of successfully launching and promoting
products in the healthcare industry. They will also have
demonstrated strong leadership skills related to building and
developing teams and collaborating with cross functional
partners.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall launch planning process: In collaboration with
the Market Access, Marketing Operations, Sales, and Medical Affairs
teams, develop a comprehensive launch plan in which each function
is aligned to an overall corporate vision for the successful launch
of our lead asset AV101. Maintain an environment in which patient
need, brand success and doing the right thing is the guiding light
to our approach.
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with
crossfunctional teams to develop comprehensive marketing strategies
aligned with business objectives and market dynamics. Core
deliverables include the development and execution of a disciplined
plan to deliver exceptional results for brand positioning, branding
(trade name, brand colors, logo etc), messaging, KOL engagement,
professional and patient initiatives (both physical and digital)
along with other promotional materials.
- Market Research and Insights: Collaborate with the commercial
operations team to conduct market research and analysis to identify
market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and
opportunities. Translate insights into actionable strategies to
differentiate Aerovate's products and capture market share.
- Brand Management: Develop and manage the brand identity,
messaging, and positioning strategies for Aerovate's products.
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and
materials.
- Digital and Multichannel Marketing: Drive digital marketing
initiatives, including online advertising, social media, email
campaigns, and website optimization. Implement multichannel
marketing strategies to engage healthcare professionals, patients,
and key stakeholders.
- KOL Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key
opinion leaders (KOLs) and advocacy groups within the
cardiopulmonary disease space. Leverage KOL insights and
endorsements to enhance Aerovate's brand reputation and
credibility.
- Marketing Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities and
materials comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards,
and company policies. Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams
to mitigate risks and maintain ethical marketing
practices.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, life
sciences, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical
marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and
commercializing pharmaceutical products, preferably in rare
diseases or specialty therapeutics.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business
acumen.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills.
- Ability to build and develop a strong team of talented
marketers who are like minded in our pursuit to serve patients,
build a successful brand, and collaborate with the cross functional
team.
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a
fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations and industry
