Job Description Job Description Maintenance Technician – Overnight Shift (Food Manufacturing) Location: Fremont, NE Schedule: Overnight | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | 2-2-3 Rotation About the Role Join a highly automated, state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility where your technical skills make a real impact. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll provide hands-on support to keep production running smoothly, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure equipment reliability in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do Monitor production areas and repair equipment as needed. Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using hand and power tools. Review work orders and maintain accurate documentation. Assist with installation and modification of equipment. Train peers on maintenance procedures when requested. Suggest improvements to reduce downtime and enhance efficiency. Attend maintenance meetings and safety trainings. Follow all safety policies and enforce safe working habits. What We’re Looking For Minimum 6 months industrial maintenance experience. Skilled with hand and power tools; able to read tape measures and blueprints. Basic electrical knowledge and safety awareness. Strong math skills and ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (45–50&degree;F). Comfortable operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and other powered equipment. Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays. Must pass physical requirements and wear PPE as required. Preferred: Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Welding, or similar field. Experience with VFDs and welding. Why You’ll Love It Here Competitive pay with overtime opportunities. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
