Job Description:
Job Description Job Description About Celestial AI As Generative
AI continues to advance, the performance drivers for data center
infrastructure are shifting from systems-on-chip (SOCs) to systems
of chips. In the era of Accelerated Computing, data center
bottlenecks are no longer limited to compute performance, but
rather the system's interconnect bandwidth, memory bandwidth, and
memory capacity. Celestial AI's Photonic Fabricâ„¢ is the
next-generation interconnect technology that delivers a tenfold
increase in performance and energy efficiency compared to competing
solutions. The Photonic Fabricâ„¢ is available to our customers in
multiple technology offerings, including optical interface
chiplets, optical interposers, and Optical Multi-chip Interconnect
Bridges (OMIB). This allows customers to easily incorporate high
bandwidth, low power, and low latency optical interfaces into their
AI accelerators and GPUs. The technology is fully compatible with
both protocol and physical layers, including standard 2.5D
packaging processes. This seamless integration enables XPUs to
utilize optical interconnects for both compute-to-compute and
compute-to-memory fabrics, achieving bandwidths in the tens of
terabits per second with nanosecond latencies. This innovation
empowers hyperscalers to enhance the efficiency and
cost-effectiveness of AI processing by optimizing the XPUs required
for training and inference, while significantly reducing the TCO2
impact. To bolster customer collaborations, Celestial AI is
developing a Photonic Fabric ecosystem consisting of tier-1
partnerships that include custom silicon/ASIC design, system
integrators, HBM memory, assembly, and packaging suppliers. ABOUT
THE ROLE We are seeking a Test Engineer with expertise in Automated
Test Equipment (ATE) and System-Level Testing (SLT) to join our
team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and
optimizing test strategies for semiconductor and optical
components. Experience with optics-based testing is a strong plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, debug, and optimize
ATE and SLT test programs for production and validation. Work
closely with design, product, and validation teams to define and
implement test requirements. Analyze test data to improve yield,
performance, and reliability. Develop and maintain test patterns
and test methodologies for different device types. Support JTAG,
boundary scan, and other digital/analog test interfaces.
Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure test
coverage and debug failures. Automate data collection, analysis,
and reporting to enhance efficiency. Provide failure analysis and
debug support for both production and engineering samples. Support
new product introduction (NPI) and drive continuous improvement in
test coverage and efficiency. If applicable, develop and execute
optics-based testing methodologies for integrated photonics or
optical components. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's or Master's degree in

LTX, etc.). Experience in SLT, functional testing, and debug at the
system level. Proficiency in programming test scripts (Python,
C/C++, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of semiconductor testing
methodologies, test coverage, and data analysis. Familiarity with
JTAG, boundary scan, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, PCIe,
etc.). Experience in failure analysis, yield improvement, and test
optimization. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in optics/photonics testing
(lasers, modulators, optical transceivers, etc.). Knowledge of
optical instrumentation (power meters, spectrum analyzers,
interferometers, etc.). Familiarity with high-speed signal
integrity and RF testing. Experience in data visualization tools
for test analysis. Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
