organization headquartered in Novato, California, is the industry
leader in providing professional development, products, and
resources related to Project Based Learning (PBL). PBLWorks
creates, collects, and shares high-quality PBL tools and resources

The Marketing Manager will plan and lead initiatives to develop and
deepen our relationships with our audiences - teachers and school
and district leaders - as well as build awareness of the PBLWorks
brand, products, and services. This position will focus primarily
on the development of marketing communications collateral and
demand generation programs.
Our marketing team is small but mighty! We are agile and flexible,
and our key priorities evolve with the needs of this dynamic,
fast-paced organization. The right candidate for the Marketing
Manager will be an excellent communicator, collaborator, and
tech-savvy project manager.
Work closely with a cross-functional team, including Director of
Marketing & Communications, to enhance the sales funnel engagement
cycle and customer journey. Use a data-driven approach for
Manage the PBLWorks editorial calendar and related strategies for
marketing channels (blog, email, social media, webpages), in order
to drive engagement and growth-including both B2C sales and B2B
Manage and execute the organization's use of Pardot for email
marketing and automations-an integral part of the organization's
marketing strategy. Provide regular analysis in order to better
serve, connect, and understand our full audience.
Track data for Marketing team's key performance indicators and
other metrics, and provide regular reporting and analysis for the
team to iterate on strategies and tactics.
Write and design compelling content that's aligned with the
PBLWorks style guide.
Manage projects to develop brand-aligned collateral for both
digital and print, collaborating with both vendors and colleagues
(ex: catalogs, landing pages, sales sheets, postcards, SWAG).
Serve as an internal consultant to review branded materials for
colleagues (i.e. slide decks, microsites). In service of that,
manage our organization's internal hubs for brand assets and

At least 4 years experience in marketing is strongly preferred;
experience in K-12 education or in a non-profit is a plus.
A demonstrated passion for effective, efficient marketing &
communications-and doing so with personality!
Excellent technical skills, including with industry-standard email
marketing tools and Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, or Adobe Suite (Illustrator,
Photoshop, InDesign) is a plus.
Experience with email marketing and with production of print and/or

The Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing &

in Marin County, California, one hour north of San Francisco. The
position will include some travel to key events and conferences as
