Learn more at NationalEczema.org. -Job Summary:The eczema landscape is at the dawn of a new era of care marked by a surge in research, investments in treatment development and the demand for an engaged patient community, where those living with eczema are experts in the lived experience, and valued stakeholders in the treatment development process. -As the patient advocacy organization serving exclusively the 31+ million Americans with eczema, one of the National Eczema Association's most important roles is the facilitation of this meaningful engagement- to serve as the bridge between lived experiences and the treatment and care landscape. Working closely with Research, Communications, Programs and Advocacy staff, the Director, Corporate Relations will manage NEA's efforts to elevate and amplify the patient journey through collaborations with the pharmaceutical and related industries, and will bring passion, vision, creativity, and enthusiasm to this essential work. - -Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Programs, the Director, Corporate Relations will develop, implement, and oversee strategies to build sustaining relationships with pharmaceutical and related industry stakeholders. The Director, Corporate Relations will bring to the National Eczema Association experience building relationships that leverage aligned priorities and identifying opportunities of mutual benefit among stakeholders, which will result in high-yield collaborative programs and partnerships. As a member of Team NEA and a representative of the eczema community, the Director, Corporate Relations will consistently perform with integrity and honesty, and will exemplify NEA's values: Transformative, Patient-Centered, Collaborative, Truth-Seeking and Accountable. -This position is full-time (40 hours/week) and is currently remote. -NEA Headquarters are in Novato, CA; permanent remote home-based locations may be considered for exceptional candidates.Primary Responsibilities:Direct all activities of the NEA Corporate Council: NEA Corporate Council is a consortium of pharmaceutical companies committed to developing and commercializing treatments for the eczema community, who make an investment in NEA's strategic plan

  • Serve as the primary point of contact with NEA Corporate Council Members
  • Provide strategic oversight and direction of NEA Corporate Council Program
  • Develop, implement, and measure growth and engagement strategies -
  • Vision, plan, coordinate and oversee NEA Corporate Council Meetings - currently twice annually
  • Oversee and manage Corporate Council revenue
  • Meet regularly with Corporate Council Members to maintain good partner relationships, ensure partnership value, and garner new insights, needs and gaps.Cross-Functional Collaborations
    • Ongoing strategic and tactical team collaboration with Marketing and Communications Department, including corporate supported programs and partnership deliverables
    • Ongoing strategic and tactical team collaboration with Scientific and Clinical Affairs Department, including the reporting and sharing of NEA's real-world data and other patient reported insights with Corporate Council and other corporate partners.
    • In collaboration with the Operations Department, oversee and manage Corporate Council revenue
    • Collaborate with all NEA Team members on both a regular and as-needed basis, supporting and elevating the entire organization to work to its highest potentialQualifications
      • Bachelor's degree is required, advanced degree preferred
      • 5-plus years of professional experience in patient advocacy, pharmaceutical/pharmaceutical engagement, non-profit fundraising and/or corporate relations
      • Proven ability to grow revenue, value, and engagement with funders
      • Proven ability to work productively with cross-functional teams of varying levels of staff seniority
      • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. Effective---verbal, non-verbal, and written communication methods as well as reflective listening skills -
      • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail -
      • Experienced ability to work independently without close oversight, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks and projects with differing, and at times changing, priorities and timelines
      • This position will require travel (as COVID protections allow). It is estimated that this individual will have at least 6 trips per year, including work related (professional) travel, as well as organization-wide travel (annual Conference, Retreat, etc.)The National Eczema Association offers an attractive benefits package to the qualified candidate: -
