Job Description:
The Brand Manager, Exclusive Brands and Innovation, will take on
the critical role in the brand development and execution of the
annual and long-term strategic marketing plans for our Exclusive
Brands portfolio (40+ brands) within key national off-premise
retail accounts as well as lead and manage portfolio innovation for
the organization.Key focus areas will include:
- Leading innovation and new brand development for the Exclusive
Brand portfolio from conception to in store activation
- Includes trend analysis and consumer research; brand
development with Project Management, Winemaking, Pricing; creative
execution with both internal and external stakeholders;
presentation to respective account partners
- Includes leading cross functional team on formal RFP process
for respective accounts
- Leading high level business analysis efforts for key account
partners - continuously monitors business and brand health
performance for all accounts using internal and external data
resources; provides support to cross functional partners in sales
by delivering actionable insights and assisting in identifying
white space opportunities at respective accounts
- Working extensively with cross functional sales partners to
develop strong relationships with buying teams, supporting key
focuses for each respective account throughout the year
- Includes participation in status calls with national buyer
teams, attending national buyer meetings where appropriate,
preparing materials for sales to take to buyers, etc.
- Leading high level innovation for the entire WX portfolio,
encompassing both Exclusive Brands and National Brands; work
includes extensive research and analysis on how WX can tap into
macro consumer trends and wine specific trends, attending
meetings/webinars to educate company about trend
patterns/opportunity sectors, evaluating and developing suggested
portfolio growth opportunities for National Brands utilizing
respective trends, etc.
- Assisting in development of long-term brand growth plan and
annual business plans for national accounts, collaborating with
Marketing Director, National Account Sales Managers and other
internal stakeholders.
- Acting as internal liaison with cross functional teams,
including but not limited to: Winemaking, Production, Project
Management, Legal, Sales, Pricing and S&OP.
- Manages budget, ensuring that dollars are allocated and spent
in an efficient and effective manner within budgetary
parameters
- Manages updates to creative assets for entire Exclusive Brand
portfolio, including tech sheets, brand photography, sales decks,

Experiences
- Must have experience developing and managing consumer brand
development and packaging, and ideating compelling POS, sales
materials and promotions. Effective project management skills -
ability to execute on-time and within budget.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation
skills.
- Proficient in analyzing industry scan data.
- Skilled with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Education
- Bachelor's Degree in related field required; Master's Degree
preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of brand marketing experience, ideally in the wine
industry. Physical Demands
- Possess valid driver's license.
- Travel required - 15-20%.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. occasionally. WX offers a
