In this role, you will report to the Regional Director and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel - and our customers - to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. ** The site requires associates to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. ** Benefits: (All Full-time employees are eligible for health benefits on 1st day of employment)

    • Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences or related discipline.Experience:
      • Working in a Laboratory /Research Environment
      • Leadership or Supervisory experience
      • 5+ year related work history
      • Formal project management training or certification
      • Six Sigma certification or formal training highly preferred.
      • Working in supply chain, procurement, or distribution a plus
        • Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred.
        • Preferred Qualifications:
          • Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
          • Proven time management, forecasting knowledge, and/or expediting experience.
          • Ability to work independently to prioritize multiple competing tasks.
          • You are proficient in use of MS Office software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP
          • You can demonstrate strong interpersonal and people management skills
          • You are results-oriented and self motivating
          • You have knowledge of GMP/ISO requirements and expectations & the ability to assess compliance risks.
          • Handle multiple complex tasks and make timely appropriate decisions with respect to product quality, compliance and customer complaints.
          • You have experience with reviewing and approving batch production records, manufacturing log, QC test results, in support of product release and disposition.
          • Have experience with working with and qualifying external vendors

            • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.How you will thrive and create an impactAvantor's Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will:Oversee complex customer presentations, implementations, and cost reduction initiatives. Focus given to revenue growth and operational effectiveness. Provide leadership to a team of associates in the form of coordinating daily activities, providing direction, and offering support and guidance in the functional areas related to outsourced service solutions such as: shipping, receiving, inventory management, chemical tracking, warehousing, glass wash, purchasing, desk top delivery, lab support services. Responsible for one or more customers in multiple states, GxP, as well as asset management, scientific services, and collaboration with field sales team. Manage a team within a discipline or department, typically comprised of career/intermediate professionals or Supervisors.
              • Manage all aspects and strategy with running an efficient service program.
              • Serves as main point of contact for all services at client account.
              • Work with the client to understand their needs and work collaboratively to develop solutions that resolve challenges.
              • Develop and synchronize on-site team's project list to achieve mutually aligned goals.
              • Perform service assessments, analysis, costing, value propositions, proposal development and presentations to customer management.
              • Coach and motivate team members to successfully perform job requirements and to meet / exceed goals and objectives; serves as a role model and mentor, in both words and actions, for associates who express and exhibit a desire to pursue individual professional growth and team growth; support team building activities/practices.
              • Develop maintains, and continuously reviews goals and objectives for the department to insure they are in line.
              • Ensure efficient and effective processes are in place to measure and deliver on service commitments to client.
              • Support client service reporting and data analysis requirements.
              • Drive succession planning strategies and associate development plans.
              • Meet goals and objectives: safety, performance, and quality.
              • Develop, updates, and communicates detailed project plans with internal partners and external customer teams to ensure success of Avantor business solution implementation.
              • Sets and Manages Client expectations.
              • Make recommendations or alert leadership team of impending business issues.
              • Execute process improvement tools and methodologies as part of customer solutions to provide customer value and Avantor revenue.
