Interventional Radiology Locum Tenens Opportunity Near
Roseville, CA Job Details: We are currently seeking a
board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist for a
locum tenens position near Roseville, CA. This opportunity offers a
chance to provide critical services in a General Acute Care
Hospital that is stroke-certified but not a trauma-designated
facility. The position is available ASAP and will continue on an
ongoing basis, offering stability and flexibility for qualified
candidates. Key Details: Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing Shift Type: Day
shifts with night call after 4:30 PM Shift Hours: Day: 8:00 AM to
4:30 PM Night Call: Begins after 4:30 PM Weekend Requirements: Yes
On Call Requirements: Yes Practice Setting: General Acute Care
Hospital Support Staff: Radiology Nurses and Technicians Large
Radiology group for overflow and after-hours reads Duties Include:
Hospital coverage, including Interventional Radiology (IR) needs
and stroke CTs IR Procedures: Thoracentesis, Paracentesis,
Nephrostomy tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest tubes,
Suprapubic catheters CT/US-guided biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, etc.)
Barium studies and lumbar punctures Patients Per Day: Varies based
on hospital needs Certification Requirements: Board
Certification/Eligibility: Required in Radiology Required
Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) BLS (Basic
Life Support) DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration registration)
Licensure: Active California medical license required Preferred
Experience: Procedural Skills: Expertise in Interventional
Radiology procedures, including stroke CTs and other emergency
department and ICU imaging studies EMR System: Experience with
Cerner preferred This locum tenens position is perfect for an
