Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital setting Day shifts, five 8-hour shifts per week from 8:30 to 18:00 Caseload includes CVA, trauma, orthopedic, medical-surgical, neurological, and ambulatory care patients Epic charting experience preferred Duties include planning and implementing occupational therapy programs and participating in department initiatives Modules are completed during orientation through e-learning, with hours varying by specialty Return staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Only one holiday will be approved for time off during assignment Applicants must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates are accepted at a local rate Requirements Current California Occupational Therapist license required if applicable BLS certification from the American Heart Association required Minimum 2 years of recent occupational therapy experience in an acute care hospital Experience with Epic EMR preferred Must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-657702.
