Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience - At least 1 year of recent experience - Previous travel assignment required License: - Current RN license Certifications: - AHA ACLS - AHA BLS - AWHONN Intermediate - NRPA Must-Have: - Ability to circulate C-sections - Post-partum experience - Willingness to work every other weekend - Ability to float to other facilities Description: Looking for an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. Candidates must be proficient in clinical skills related to labor and delivery. Experience with high-risk antepartum cases is preferred. Must be able to assist with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Responsibilities include monitoring fetal heart rates, performing sterile vaginal exams, and administering medications as needed. Expect to engage in patient education during discharge. Ability to provide breastfeeding support and lactation education is a plus. The position requires experience with neonatal resuscitation and caring for postpartum patients. Adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures is essential.
