Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Castro Valley, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,979 per week Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 3 years nursing experience, 1 year travel experience License: Current RN license in California Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience in General, Ortho, Vascular, Trauma, Neuro procedures - Previous charge experience preferred - Charting system experience required Description: Plans, manages, and coordinates the professional nursing care delivered to surgical patients. Provides specialized care and treatment. Directs and supervises ancillary nursing personnel. Works in collaboration with all members of the health team. Scrubs or circulates surgical cases. Maintains standards of professional nursing practice. Ability to make fine discrimination in sound. Ability to work with bodily fluids and substances. Contact with patients under varied circumstances. Handles emergency or crisis situations. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Assists with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and adjusting the position of patients weighing over 200 pounds.
