Job Description:
Walmart Inc., a leading global retailer, is looking for a Staff
Data Scientist specialized in Conversational AI to join our dynamic
IT team. This position is based in Bentonville, Arkansas, at the
heart of our corporate operations. As a Staff Data Scientist, you
will drive innovation and improve customer experiences across
multiple platforms by developing and enhancing our AI-powered
conversational interfaces. You will work closely with
cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, design solutions,
and deploy scalable AI models. Design and implement AI models for
natural language understanding, natural language processing, and
conversational agents. Collaborate with software engineers, product
managers, and business stakeholders to integrate AI technologies
into Walmart’s platforms and services. Analyze and interpret
complex data to improve conversational AI algorithms and perform
tests to optimize performance. Stay updated with the latest
advancements in AI, machine learning, and computational linguistics
to drive continuous innovation. Document and present model
development processes, outcomes, and insights to both technical and
non-technical audiences. Expertise in AI, machine learning
algorithms, and natural language processing (NLP). Strong
proficiency with Python and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or
PyTorch. Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
for deploying AI solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
