Job Description Job Description Job Title: Welder / Fabricator Location: Colusa, CA Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Seasonal hours (March–October): 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional half-day Saturdays during harvest season Employment Type: Permanent / Evaluation-to-Hire Job Summary Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a locally owned agricultural equipment company in Colusa to hire an experienced Welder / Fabricator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable team that builds, services, and repairs agricultural machinery and implements for the local farming community. The Welder / Fabricator will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and modifying metal components and equipment, ensuring high-quality workmanship, strength, and durability in all projects. Key Responsibilities - Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on mild steel and other metals - Fabricate new parts, assemblies, and frames from blueprints and technical drawings - Repair and modify agricultural equipment, trailers, and custom implements - Operate fabrication tools such as grinders, plasma cutters, shears, and brakes - Measure, cut, and fit materials to ensure proper alignment and accurate assembly - Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications - Follow all safety protocols and properly use PPE at all times - Assist with general shop duties, maintenance, or assembly as needed Qualifications - Minimum of 3 years of welding and fabrication experience required - Strong working knowledge of MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings - Experience with agricultural or heavy equipment preferred - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hands-on shop environment - Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team Compensation & Benefits - Hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $23.00, depending on experience - Full-time, permanent opportunity with growth potential - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) retirement savings plan - Paid time off and holiday pay How to Apply Apply online at www.ExpressPros.com/YubaCityCA or call 530-671-9202 to schedule an interview.
