Job Description:

SafetyChain Software is looking for a Business Development Representative to identify interest and qualify prospective buyers for our online Plant Management Platform.Ideal candidate is looking to utilize their prior Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Food Safety & Quality (FSQA) experience to help production plants and distribution facilities in transition to electronic data records and online compliance programs. Prior experience in sales is a requirement. Prior experience in a quality role in other process manufacturing industries is welcome too.The primary role for this position is to engage our prospective buyers to identify how they can use data capture, analytic reporting and tracking of KPIs to support active continuous improvement and ROI in Quality, Safety, and Production. Experience in helping sell compliance, safety or quality systems is highly desired. As well, prior experience with Quality, Safety, Statistical Process Control, and OEE is desired.Reporting to the Manager of Business Development, this role will work closely with prospective customers to build trust and articulate the ability of our software to deliver value to Consumer Packaged Goods industry executives, production managers, program leaders and Quality professionals.Who we are:SafetyChain is a fast growing, award-winning B2B SaaS software company focused on food and beverage and consumer packaged goods manufacturers in North America. We believe diverse backgrounds and experiences combined with help and hustle makes for a great place to work.What You Will Do:As part of the Sales team, the Business Development Representative will be responsible for engaging with prospective buyers by phone, email and social media to convert their interest into attention and set qualified appointments for your regional sales managers. You will generate appointments from a mixture of sources including inbound leads, existing leads and social networking. Working remotely from your home office you will be supported by our marketing team.
