We are looking to fill an open position for a press brake operator in our metal prefabrication department.This is a full time 40+ hour/week position. Swing Shift (2:30 PM to 12 AM)The position works with a variety of metal types and thicknesses.Some of these include carbon steel, stainless steel, & aluminum in both sheet and plate from 20ga to over 1".Experience with a press brake is required!The ideal candidate would possess the following skills:* Experience with Hydraulic press brakes 275-400 ton* Plate rolling 16ga - 1" Angle, channel, tube, pipe rolling up to 4"* Hydraulic & mechanical shear* Grinders Drills, hand, mag-base & press* Ironworker MIG & SMAW welding* Bandsaw* Knowledge of intermediate level math* Experience with metal alloys, standard shapes, sizes, and configurations* Ability to read shop drawings* Ability to calculate bend angles and material stretch outEducation, Experience & Qualifications* High School diploma or G.E.D* 2+ years in a similar position* Ability to lift 75-100lbs.* Reliable means of transportation* Clean drug test* Industrial environmentBenefits (after 90-days probation)* Medical insurance* Paid holidays* Paid vacation* 401K program after 1 year of employmentWage: Dependent on experienceJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $17.00 to $22.00 /hour
