Postdoctoral positions are available in Dr. Eric Verdin's
laboratory at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging (Novato, CA)
to research the biology of aging.
The Verdin lab studies the role of nutrient sensing in aging.
Current focus areas are the role of mitochondrial sirtuins and
protein acylation, purpose of beta-hydroxybutyrate and epigenetic
regulation, and function of NAD+ metabolism in aging.
We welcome highly motivated individuals with a PhD in any area
of biomedical sciences to join the Verdin lab. We offer a
