Do you know how, and when, to align brand creative/messaging with a trending meme? Do you enjoy curating audiences and personas, and deciding what CTA is going to make them click? Can you debate the merits of TikTok, Triller and Instagram Reels, and develop testable hypotheses to understand what elements of campaign creative are delivering results? Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kiosk has decided to keep all employees and this position working remotely until at least August 17, 2021. When employees return to work, you will need to be able to work in person (or hybrid Remote + In-Person) from either our Novato, CA office or our Marina del Rey, CA office or from an office in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area.

What you will do: 

 Paid Social

  • Research and understand audience groups, demographics, geos, and motivations
  • Develop audience personas that inform client campaigns
  • Brief in, or help to devise creative and copy for paid advertising campaigns on Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media channels
  • Set up new Paid Social campaigns, including: Account set up; campaign set up; tracking pixels, ad copywriting; report buildout; bid management set up; QA
  • Collaborate on creative testing strategies 
  • Analyze and optimize campaigns on a daily basis
  • Spot trends, opportunities and problems, and work with the Senior Social Campaign Manager to decide how to respond proactively
  • Manage paid social advertising budgets to predefined cost per lead metrics, and monitor the pacing of ad budgets
  • Monitor and track social media program results and prepare reports and provide insights on those findings
  • As required, create more in-depth reports to understand performance of various campaigns and provide insights to colleagues
  • Present performance metrics to Kiosks clients, including providing insights into the numbers and making recommendations for campaign optimizations
  • Attend brainstorms and meetings to help come up with new ideas 

General:

  • Manage and mentor junior team members, and help them to develop
  • Prepare for and attend new business pitches on behalf of the Social team 
  • Carry out online client, competitor, market and product research to fully understand the subject matter and marketing opportunities
  • Update project plans and work back schedules
  • Pursue relevant certifications and ongoing professional development and training 
  • Stay current on social technologies and platforms 

What You Will Need (Skills and Requirements):

  • Paid Social Media experience, ideally agency-side
  • Working knowledge of Facebook Ad Manager
  • LinkedIn Campaign Manager experience
  • An affinity for data and metrics, and ability to derive insights from the data
  • Basic MS Excel skills and familiarity with Google Docs 
  • Ability to generate creative ideas
  • Presentation skills
  • Good understanding of social media channels
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Enthusiasm to do great work with a great team!

Nice to have:

  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Digital Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Marketing or relevant field
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Experience with managing paid advertising campaigns on Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok and/or YouTube
