Position Summary

The Inside Sales Representative will educate customers on disease state & product information in order to increase awareness of XLH and drive patient identification. This position requires consultative and relational selling by phone, video, and email to customers. The targeted customers are physicians, NP's, PA's, nursing staff, office managers, and administrative staff within both hospital and community settings.

You will work closely with an assigned Region of field representatives to provide lead generation, appointment setting, recruitment for virtual lunch & learns, and assist/support their sales efforts as well.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a key cross-functional role with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Make daily outbound calls on target account list. Educate customers over the phone and
  • through video interaction and make a minimum number of new customers calls per day in addition to completion of follow up calls.
  • Educate physicians, nurses, and office staff within an assigned territory on product and disease state information in order to raise awareness and drive patient identification
  • Develop superior product and disease state knowledge and effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals in dialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
  • Representative must possess a solid ability to communicate necessary technical, scientific, product, and disease management information to customers.
  • Proactively builds effective working relationships with internal/external stakeholders; can drive agreement/decisions from multiple stakeholders; ability to understand people's emotions and flex communication style. Can adjust their approach based on different stakeholders needs, concerns, or audience member to drive alignment and meet their goals.
  • Generate weekly data analytics reports for Inside Sales Team
  • Achieve monthly key performance indicators, which includes but not limited to new business growth, call volume, and CRM documentation

Technical Requirements & Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a call center representative, inside sales, or field-based representative required
  • Highly effective telephone communication skills, with the ability to inspire an audience and develop trusted relationships with customers & team members,
  • Individual who strives for organizational success, and seeks career growth in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry
  • Strong computer skills utilizing telephone and / or video technology
  • Excellent organization and time management skills required
  • Bachelor's degree required, BS/BA in professional selling, marketing, or biological sciences preferred
  • Inside sales position with the potential to transition to a field sales position, must be willing to relocate if necessary
