Job Description:

Position Summary:This role is responsible for ensuring that the sites and buildings are safe, secure and meet legislative and environmental obligations. Thisrole will use business efficiency to minimize operating costs while maximizing the best use of available space.Areas of Responsibility:* Respond to Facility tickets in a prompt manner to resolve issues* Ensure that Facility tickets are closed out to the satisfaction of the requester* Coordinate and supervise projects as needed* Coordinate the activities of contractors as directed* Monitor performance of contractors to agreed service levels* Communicate with stakeholders on project progress and delivery* Plan and provide over site of select building renovation* Coordination of cleaning contractors and on site security contractors* Special projects as assigned.* Ability to work outside of normal business hours* Ensure that facilities meet EH&S requirements and comply with legal requirements.CA1QualificationsOther Skills and Abilities:* Lives locally in order to respond to facility alarms or emergencies.* Has excellent communication skills.* Is self motivated and able to work independently, as well as with others.* Has a positive can do attitude.* Clean DMV record.CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below arerepresentative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education/Experience:3 year's experience in facilities maintenance and/or a specific trade.Computer Skills:Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
