Novato Healthcare Center - Principal Responsibilities: TECHNICAL--- Ensures a safe, comfortable, sanitary environment for residents, staff and visitors in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate requirements.--- Performs preventative maintenance procedures.--- Requires full range of body motion.ADMINISTRATIVE--- Maintains equipment necessary to meet Center needs.--- Understands department budget.--- Maintains written records and documents of services performed according to Federal, Sate and Corporaterequirements.--- May train personnel to meet Center needs.--- Participates in assigned meetings and in-services.SUPERVISORY--- May assume role of Director in his absence. QUALIFICATIONS--- One year experience in a long term care center preferred.--- Ability to read and write English for business necessity.--- Ability to perform basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.--- One year experience in basic trades preferred.--- Working knowledge of plant support systems (cooling/heating, emergency systems) preferred.CONSUMER SERVICE--- Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.--- Adheres to company standards for resolving consumer concerns.--- Ensures that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
